Welcome to Our WebsiteThe Jeffrey Pride Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) foundation whose sole mission is to raise funds which will go directly to pediatric cancer research.
Research is the Cure
The Jeffrey Pride Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 founded in 2000 in memory of Jeffrey Pride, and in response to learning that pediatric cancer research is severely underfunded, receiving less than 3% of all money raised to fight cancer.
Over the past 15 years we've supported drug research, clinical trials and most recently genomic testing of children's cancer cells. This provides children with the most promising, targeted and specific treatments for their cancers. These new developments quite possibly could have changed Jeff's treatment and he and other children like him might have been healthy adults today.
The need for private funding like ours is more urgent than ever. Drug companies rarely fund pediatric cancer research in a significant way, and government grants have been cut 30% over the last 10 years. At a point in time where there are so many promising ideas for research, funding is more limited than ever and life-saving research goes undone.
So join us! Help us! Let research advance, and let's cure pediatric cancers in our lifetime.

What The Money DoesAs one of the larger donors to Children's Oncology Group, we have a designated fund called The Jeffrey Pride Fund for Targeted Therapy Discovery in Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. 100% of our donations to Children's Oncology Group are divided among two critical areas that are desperately under funded: pharmacological research of new chemotherapeutic agents, and subsidizing clinical trials so children will be able to receive new and potentially lifesaving drugs. There are plans in place for studies of several new drugs as funding permits. ... more
Where Your Donations GoWith the help of Jeff's doctors, we have chosen to contribute the

Children's Oncology Group oversees more than 90% of all the pediatric cancer research that is done in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and the Netherlands, and writes all treatment protocols for children's chemotherapy regimens. Chicago area hospitals that are members of the Children's Oncology Group include Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, Rush - Presbyterian .... more
